On Today’s Show
Author Todd Henry talks about the third element of your personal “voice engine:” Mastery. Todd teaches that mastery is really about owning your platform. It’s about developing what you need to do to put your work in front of other people. Mastery is how people first experience us and our work. So what are the set of skills you need to practice on a daily basis so you can become a master of your craft and be able to deliver at a moment’s notice?

1 Simple Thing Action:
Define your dailies. Think about 1-3 things you are going to commit to doing every day over the course of the next two weeks. These should be things that stem from your sense of who you are and the value you want to create. It’s these actions that will inform and help you accomplish your vision for your intended audience.
Mentioned In Episode:
The three elements of the Voice Engine:
- Identity – Understanding who you are, what you care about, and rooting your work in something substantive.
- Vision – Understanding where you want your work to go and your intended audience. Then shape your work so that it connects deeply with your intended audience.
