People can be jerks. They can be rude, arrogant, difficult and impulsive. “Tell me something I don’t know,”right? We all have something called “confirmation bias.” We make decisions about the world and people surrounding us. Then when we see others acting in a way that verifies our assumptions, we immediately pronouce them guilty.

This article from Jordan Gray reminds us of a simple fact: we should never judge people based on a small sample size of their actions. Why? Because we don’t know what they’re going through. And our presuppositions might not be correct.
