Somehow your brain is considering it more important to avoid possible failure or being embarrassed than to take action on what you want to do. We need to remember that everybody feels this fear, everybody has this resistance. If you are envying someone who’s doing everything you’ve always wanted to do, even though they look like they have no fear…they do. They have just learned to act in spite of the fear.

Talk to someone who is doing what you wish you could do and ask what their biggest challenges were and how they overcame them. That way you’ll see how they broke through what could have been excuses, and offer you a boost of motivation on how to sail past your perceived limitations.
