Do you struggle with completing projects or specific tasks? We’d all like to get things done and become more productive. But what often happens is we put off important tasks and let them slip through the cracks. The result? We get overwhelmed by the amount of things to do. In other words, “procrastination” causes you to feel stressed when you’re not completing tasks in a systematic manner.
On today’s episode, author Steve Scott says the solution is simple: Develop an “anti-procrastination mindset” where you take action on a daily basis and NEVER get overwhelmed by your to-do list.

1 Simple Thing Action
Take any project you are facing and write down every possible step. If you put everything into an actual strategy and just focus on doing those few tasks, you’ll find, as you chip away, that a goal is entirely doable.

You want to relate every action to a goal. You should have a clearly identifiable reason why you are actually doing this particular task instead of “oh, I feel I have to.”
Learn to say No. It’s important to say no to everything and just focus on the stuff that you feel passionate about.
Be accountable. Have an accountability group/partner to talk about challenges and future short term goals. This is an important part of keeping yourself not only accountable but also making sure that you don’t procrastinate on certain tasks.
Start small. Break everything down into do-able steps. Don’t make goals that are impossible to achieve on a daily basis.
