Break any Power Struggle with a Simple Negotiation Question©: Ask yourself, “What would it take for me to do what they want?” Once the other person tells you what they want, now what would it take for you to do what they want? You can then get into negotiations to resolve your differences. Most of us don’t even ask the question.
