Michael Weinberger talks about the third element of what he calls “the big three” of our emotional health: mindfulness. Mindfulness is connecting my thoughts, my feelings, and my body to bring me into the present moment. So literally it’s as simple as slowing your mind down and being able to be present. Mindfulness is also about creating distance between the time I have a thought and the time I react to it.

1 Simple Thing Action
Take a deep breath in through your nose, imagine yourself breathing in the universe and all of the positivity. Then exhale all of the negativity and excesses you have. Imagine it all releasing out of yourself and letting it go.
