On Today’s Show
Elizabeth Crook reminds us that hard things happen in life. People lose jobs, or a big client, divorce, illness…something we did not imagine. And as those storms come into our life, it feels like our whole landscape has been destroyed. Many times we try and run from those emotions rather than face our emotional storm so we can move forward. Elizabeth says it’s better to allow ourselves to face and feel the emotions, then move past them so we can base our decisions on the hard truth of the facts as they are.

1. Feel your emotions first and let them out. Give them a voice.
2. Examine and face the brutal facts of your situation?
3. Decide the outcome you want once this storm has passed. How will you feel once that happens, and what are the resources that will help you get there?
4. List out the next five things you are going to do?
